Doug Painter serves as the President of Astro Sign Company and Astro Outdoor Advertising Inc., bringing over 35 years of experience in the sign industry. He is deeply committed to helping businesses achieve their branding goals through effective, affordable signage and billboard advertising. Doug's leadership is grounded in building a knowledgeable, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering high-quality products that exceed client expectations.

Throughout his tenure at Astro, Doug has held key roles in production, sales, and accounting, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the business from the ground up. When he's not at work, he enjoys spending time in the Adirondacks, listening to the river, traveling, and making memories with his family.

I believe in the values of hard work, personal pride, and outstanding customer service, and I’m proud to share those values with my team as we look toward the future together.”

Nick Painter serves as Vice President at Astro and has been an integral part of the team since 2018. As the third generation of the Painter family involved in the business, Nick brings both a deep-rooted passion and a forward-thinking perspective to his role. He oversees the sales team and collaborates closely with President Doug Painter on the company’s day-to-day operations, helping to drive growth and ensure operational excellence. Outside the office, Nick is an avid sports fan who enjoys catching games whenever possible—whether on screen or from the stands.

Devin plays a key role in leading the Art Department at Astro, bringing creativity, precision, and a deep passion for design to every project. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Sports Management, a combination that reflects his lifelong nthusiasm for both visual storytelling and the world of athletics.

With a strong eye for branding and layout, Devin contributes to a wide range of client projects—from signage concepts to custom advertising graphics—ensuring each design is both impactful and aligned with client goals. A proud Philadelphia sports fan, he brings the same energy and loyalty to his work as he does to cheering on his favorite teams.

Outside the office, Devin enjoys spending time on the golf course, relaxing with friends and family, and planning for the future with his fiancée. His dedication to design, team collaboration, and continuous growth makes him a valuable part of the Astro creative team.

Lauren serves as an integral part of the accounting team at Astro Sign Company. Her journey with Astro began during her college years, when she worked part-time as an administrative assistant. In November 2024, she returned to the company full-time to pursue a growing interest in accounting and business operations.

Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Psychology from Rowan University. In addition to her professional role, she is currently preparing for certification as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach—reflecting her passion for health, wellness, and lifelong learning.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys a great cup of coffee, spending time with her cat Jax, and staying active through fitness. She looks forward to growing her expertise in the accounting field and contributing to Astro’s continued success.

Elyse Frazier brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to every project she handles as Astro’s Director of Customer Experience. Known for her attention to detail and dedication to white-glove service, Elyse guides clients through each stage of the process—from permits to project completion—with care and professionalism. Elyse first joined Astro in 2014, later relocating to Colorado, where she spent eight years refining her skills in service coordination and technical

support within the security and wireless industries. In 2025, she returned to New Jersey—and to Astro—to be closer to family. Outside of work, Elyse enjoys exploring the outdoors and making memories with her boyfriend, their two daughters, and a lively crew of pets. Whether in the office or out in nature, she brings energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for meaningful experiences.

With more than 28 years of experience in radio, print, television, digital, and outdoor advertising, Pamela is passionate about helping small businesses thrive. She specializes in crafting impactful, community-focused marketing strategies that drive growth and visibility for local brands. Her deep industry knowledge and commitment to client success have made her a trusted partner for businesses looking to make a lasting impression. Pamela lives by the belief that “If you choose a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” Based in Brigantine, she enjoys balancing out her busy work life with the laid-back charm of beachside living when she can.

The newest addition to our shop production team, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong eagerness to learn. As he trains in the various facets of sign manufacturing, Michael is quickly picking up new skills and proving to be a valuable asset in supporting sign installations across a range of projects. His hands-on approach and positive attitude have made him a welcome member of the team. Outside of work, Michael likes to spend time outdoors, whether it’s casting a line while fishing, or simply relaxing in nature. He also enjoys going out to play pool and playing video games to help wind down on evenings and weekends.
